54 parts, each 125 cm x 125 cm / 125 cm x 190 cm

The photo series YMOHOLYMOH# reworks the formal vocabulary of the Bauhaus artist László Moholy-Nagy’s photograms. The title YMOHOLYMOH is a wordplay by Moholy-Nagy on his own name, which comes from a scene in his film manuscript Dynamik der Gross-Stadt (Dynamic of the City). Unlike the black-and-white photograms, which were produced by arranging objects directly on light-sensitive paper, the photo series YMOHOLYMOH# deals with similar compositional issues in classical color photography.
